Maria João Almeida has more than two decades of venture capital experience. Before joining the Venture Capital industry, Maria João worked at KPMG for 2 years in financial auditing and tax consultancy, focusing especially on Banking, manufacturing industries and services. She represents Portugal Ventures on the Board of several portfolio companies as part of her current duties. Maria João is currently part of Portugal Ventures’ Engineering & Manufacturing Division.
